Pastor’s Corner:
Special thanks for the good crowd we had in service last Sunday night. It is always a blessing for me to look out and see a good congregation in the house! We are awaiting the appraisal of our property for the completion of our loan at Post Oak Bank. Once that is accomplished, we will be ready to start with the foundation. This next year will be an excit-ing one for Gospel Tabernacle! This month marks 6 years as your Pastor and it’s just the beginning! Pastor Mike LaBrie

Pastor’s Corner:
I wanted to say a special “thank you” to Bro. and Sis. Green for their delicious gumbo last Sunday night as well as Sis. Freddie Abshire for helping get it all together! It was a very nice fellowship for those in attendance.
Also, we had a great trip to Houston yesterday. It was good to spend time with our church family.
We anxiously await the next step in our building project. I am learning patience! Pastor Michael G. LaBrie

I am so excited about what God is doing at Gospel Tabernacle! Last Sunday, we had over 90 in attendance! We were excited to announce that Hannah Whykoup received the Holy Ghost on Saturday at the youth conference. Her name was on one of our “100 soul revival” cards and we hope to present her with her certificate and prayer towel in today’s service. Invite a friend to church and see what God will do for them!

God is doing awesome things at Gospel Tabernacle! As we begin our six weeks of prayer preceding Pentecost Sunday, we join together believing for many souls to be added between now and then! We are praying for conviction on our families and our friends. They must realize their need of salvation in this hour! Please do not forget to fast on Tuesdays. We are serious about the lost!

I want to say a personal “thank you” to everyone who helped with our very special Easter service! We had a record-breaking crowd, the music was outstanding and the dinner was delicious! Special thanks to Janice Caldwell and Alexis Brister for the children’s program, Camille Castleberry for the musical presentation and Elizabeth Sanders for coordinating the dinner! Everything was First Class!

Pray Beaumont 2014

The PrayBeaumont Day Prayer Drive was a success and a blessing for all the participants. We were also blessed to have Mr. Vern Butler, our new BISD Superintendent, in the caravan with his family, praying for our community. There was tremendous unity among the ministers on the Sun Travel Luxury Motor Coach and the Beaumont Police Department Escort really put on a show. Thanks to all who participated in the event.

We had a record number of churches praying for Beaumont as well. AG, Apostolic, Baptist, Presbyterian and COGIC were a sampling of the diversity of churches praying Sunday.
We were blessed to have ministers from Mt. Gilead riding and praying with us. They learned about it from a Facebook post. Thanks to all for helping get the word out.
