Ladies Luncheon

Just a quick word about our ladies’ luncheon this past Saturday.  We know that many of our ladies were not able to attend for one reason or another, but the ladies that came had a wonderful time together.  We played a few games and a “quick word” devotion from Sis. LaBrie about the necessity of touching Jesus.  No matter how big the crowd or how others seem to be closer to Him than you, all you have to do is reach out and touch Him.  When you do, your life will never be the same.  God bless the ladies of Gospel Tabernacle!

Excitement is Building!

We are excited by the progress at 7880 Washington Blvd.  This week, the steeple was placed on top of the building!  The sheetrock has been taped, floated and is ready for paint!  We are anxiously awaiting the remaining work to be complete!  Thanks for the prayers and generous contributions to our building fund!  We are doing our best and God is definitely doing the rest!

What a wonderful week at Gospel Tabernacle!

Bro. Bell started us off with encouragement to remove those things in our lives that hinder the flow of revival! Remove the stones of doubt, fear and uncertainty so that the Holy Ghost can flow freely through our lives and into those that we are in contact with each day. I truly believe that we can live our lives so close to Him that others will see Him in us and ask about the difference in us! People are hungry!
We must be ready!

It has been a good week living for the Lord!

I want to personally thank Bro. Jerry Procell for being in service this evening and giving a Word from the Lord. We are taking a few days off and will return next Sunday. This past Wednesday, we were able to drive to College Station and pick up the sanctuary chairs that were graciously given to us by a church there. This is a direct answer to prayer and we give God all the glory! Excitement is building!

I cannot begin to describe the awesome power of the Lord that has been in our services! Special thanks to everyone for being sensitive to the Holy Ghost and allowing the Lord to minister through you! It is important for every individual in
our church family to find your place of ministry in the Kingdom.
The world is hungry and in need – we have what they are seeking! God is preparing us for the end-time revival!

We pray that your week has been blessed by the Lord! I felt that He did awesome things for those who stepped out by faith last Sunday. God is ready to move on our behalf, but He will wait until we have exhausted our resources and are
made to realize our need of Him. When we can’t, God can!

We continue to move forward with our new facility on Washington Blvd.! Excitement is building!

This week has been exciting for Gospel Tabernacle. The electricians continue to work in our new facility and the insulators are scheduled to begin next week. If you have time, please stop by and see the progress that is being made.

God is our provider and He is at work!

I am reminded of II Timothy 4:17: “Notwithstanding the Lord stood with me, and strengthened me;…” It is wonderful to know that the Lord is on our side and He will give strength to each one of us in our time of distress.

“I called upon the Lord in distress: the Lord answered me, and set me in a large place.” Psalms 118:5 Stand; and the Lord will stand with you!

It has been a great week at Gospel Tabernacle. The service last Sunday was beautiful and we were especially blessed to have Sis. Ward and her son in service with us. The founding pastor of Gospel Tabernacle was Bro. and Sis. Doyle and Sis. Ward is their daughter. She said that she was moved by the power of the Holy Ghost in the house and was pleased to see the church growing and thriving over the years.

Work is progressing on Washington Blvd. in spite of the rain! We expect the insulation soon and electrical work has already started! Excitement is building!

Please remember to pray for our church family members in need of healing!

This week, my wife and I will attend National Youth Congress in Indianapolis, Indiana. It will be awesome to see30,000 young people worshiping God in the Lucas Stadium.

It will never be the same again! Praise the Lord! Progress continues on Washington Blvd. Please make time to go by the property and see what God is doing!

We appreciate your continued faithful giving!

We had a wonderful time of fellowship yesterday traveling to Woodville to eat at the Pickett House! It is always good to spend time with our church family.

Keep us in your prayers this week for safe travels. We love you.

God is continuing to do awesome things at Gospel Tabernacle. Please remember each of our church family members that are homebound at this time and need your continued prayers.

I also want to thank each one of you who have faithfully given your pledge to our building fund. It is that consistent giving that the Lord honors and He “multiplies” it for use in His Kingdom! As our building project continues, I am reminded of Matthew 7 where Jesus speaks of the wise and foolish men. The wise man built his house upon the rock and it withstood the storm. I am thankful that we are built upon the solid rock, Christ Jesus!
